My name is DD Cobb and I'm the proud owner of Chic Mama Maternity. I have such a long story about myself I don't know where to start. I guess I can give you the short version and you can buy the book later on. Ha!Ha!
I'm a small town girl with big dreams and ambitions. I moved to San Antonio about 10 years ago and have loved living here ever since. The city is filled with friendly people and the Mexican food is the best. I got pregnant with my son Hayden 3 years ago and there was no stylish maternity boutiques around ...... so I decided to open one! One that had stylish affordable clothes that would transition from pregnancy forward. I'm a chic and stylish kinda gal so Chic Mama Maternity was a perfect name. We opened our store about 3 months after Hayden was born and it's been busy and crazy ever since. I got pregnant again when Hayden was only 9 months old (by accident) and then 9 months later came little Ava. We have had so much fun owning this store I can not imagine doing anything else. I think the thing I enjoy the most is seeing mommies come in everyday excited about the adventure ahead for them. The first time mommies that are scared to death and the old pros that are not worried about a thing. I have made such good friends owning this store. I have this store to thank for every single girlfriend that is in my immediate circle of friends right now. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Of course there are days that I would rather be employed by a fortune 500 company with insurance and stock options but I hope that in a few years maybe, just maybe, that will be us.
